I’m all over the place with this onecom

Finished up Kara on Monday, got up to prince but just could not get him down. A bit disappointing but we’re still awesome. However the gods of Kara made it up to us with the epic trash drops.

When we went in again last night we pretty much one shotted everything. For the most part we’ve got the first few bosses of Kara on farm. We’re finding that we’re able to d/e or sell a good portion of the drops. And all of the raiders are working hard even when we’re not raiding.

I wanna be a fireballin’ M.A.G.E

I suffer from horrible altitis. I see all these awesomely geared toons and see how awesome they are in BGs, and in instances, and then I want to roll one and do it. Hence why I have a lvl 34 shadow priest that is pretty much rotting away, along with some other misc characters, highest alt I have is lvl 56, and I just can’t get the gumption to hit those last 2 lvls and get her into outlands. Whatever, I have decided though that once I get my 34 to at least 60 I’m going to roll a mage. Mainly because I want to be able to turn things into sheeps, pigs, turtles, and other misc creatures.

I was a busy busy restodruid this weekend, which I love. I love having goals and stuff for myself, it’s what keeps me enthralled with this game.

Had Kara on Friday night, I missed going in on Maiden, but was there for Opera and Curator.

Saturday I instanced a lot, did multiple SV runs to get one of our druid tanks CE rep up, not to mention to get mine up as well. Both myself and the other druid are neck in neck on rep, hopefully we’ll both get to exalted soon. I also 3v3′d a bit. For me 3v3 is amazing, and my partners are wonderfully patient and don’t yell at me when I mess up. ^___^

Sunday was a bit of a lazy day, I did some dailys and was going to just farm leather for gold when someone asked if I wanted in on Gruuls, I was totally down for that! Went in and actually got to High King before our group just fell apart. Ended up taking some members of that failed PUG and moved into ZA. We did wonderfully, got the bear boss down and even made it to the eagle boss before our unfortunate wipe.

All in all this weekend was good, made about 400 gold, which isn’t as much as I would have liked to make but I’m learning to play the AH. Alas that is a story for another time. Kara again tonight, we’re going to go in and kick us some major ass.

And yet we still keep kicking

A long recap coming up, mainly because for the most part I haven’t felt like writing or trying to keep up with this thing. It could also be because when I do update, it’s from work, and I haven’t been at work for a few days. But whatever on with the WoW-Ness.

Saturday we were supposed to run ZA, I was supposed to lead it, people were supposed to get gear, we were all supposed to be happy. Well that didn’t happen. Lack of tankage, was a big factor. Sure I could have thrown on my tanking gear and tried but uhh … that’s another story for a later time. Ended up losing one of our MT’s due to a disagreement, and some other things that I see no point in updating about, mainly because I’m not one to air our guild’s dirty laundry.

Tuesday we ran kara, and low and behold, we were still suffering from the no tank blues. Okay so we reconfigured the group a little bit, and had little ol’ me respec feral. My feral gear is a bunch of mismatched items and some epics that I’ve managed to pick up here and there, and I must say for a noob I did pretty well. Had an amazing MT who explained things to me, and all in all the group was really nice and understanding about it being my first time. We got Attumen down without a hitch, and then moved on to Moroes, he gave us some problems and after wiping a few times we decided to call it.

I’m back to being resto and still have a long list of things to do, mainly to step up my game. But that will be updated later. I also had my first encounter with a GM. Me being the spaz that I am, some how accidentally sold my healing bracers. So I had to pop a GM ticket. It was really neat how nice they were, and don’t ever let it be said that GM’s don’t have a sense of humor.

Son of a glitch

Last night’s kara run was not nearly as impressive as we’re used too, but still some how managed to be satisfying none the less. Took down quite a few bosses and had an interesting glitch happen. However, we took it like champs, and the bosses of kara … well they took it like chumps.

Is not one of my favorite bosses, and last night we just had some problems with him. IDK if it was the poor elemental spawn times, or just some lag issues. It might have been a mixture of both.

Went on to Chess and there we had a little fun. I’d love to be able to link the loot we got but instead we glitched. As soon as some of us took control of our pieces we were transported down into the Curator’s room. Which SUCKED, not all of us got transported, but those of us that did were unable to loot. So as of right now we’ve got a ticket open and we’ll see what happens.
ZA is on Saturday, and everyones favorite tree is leading, that is if we get enough people. I’m really nervous about leading, but very excited as well. I’ve been reading up on the strat and everything, and honestly IDK why I’m so about this instance lately. I guess I’m getting tired of kara (collective gasps all around). And honestly it’s to the part to where I’ve managed to phase myself out of the runs. The new healers we’ve been bringing in are amazing, and can keep the group up without me. I’m thinking it’s time for me to hand the reins over to one of them, kinda how our other main healer Am handed them over to me. It makes me proud, to say the least.

I’ve got some more things that I want to accomplish as a healer, better gear and all that, but for right now I’m content raiding, doing heroics and of course doing my dailys.

This is becoming easy peasy!

Running kara lately has been a breeze. Saw two tier 4 pieces drop last week, one went to a priest who we had just brought in which was amazing! And the other went to Lir and was the last piece of kara gear that he needed.

I pugged ZA earlier this week, and while it was fun it was nowhere near as fun as it usually is with my guild it was a good learning experiance.

Went into Kara on Tuesday, and got Attumen down. It was pretty neat because they downed him with only 6 of us still alive, sadly this tree was the first to die. My HoTs still pull too much aggro from the tanks when Attumen and Midnight merge. Must remedy this, however I think that once our two newest tanks get more gear they’ll be set

Went into Kara tonight, and it was nothing but one shot after one shot. We freakin’ pwnd that place. I’m not really going to write about the fights or anything because there wasn’t much different in way of strat or anything. Just gonna link the phat lewts we got!

Naked S&M you say?

Tried to finsh up Kara on Sunday, but due to my internet being stupid I didn’t get to finish it out. They were able to down everything but Netherspite. So proud of them!

Did a naked SM run last night with 4 70s. The only rules were that you couldn’t wear your gear or trinkets.You could only use what you picked up. Hilarity ensued. It was so much fun, lots of screaming and laughing on vent. It was a perfect thing. We didn’t wipe at all … well until we got to the Cath. For the record CATH = STUPID & we died LAWL. Okay yeah it was awesome.

That run was more fun then it should have been.

Ran Kara last night, and after a rocky start things we went in and kicked that place in the face. It’s what we do. Downed Attumen and Moroes and it was freakin’ awesome. We even took a lvl 69 ‘lock in! He did a fair amount of dps, and we were able to keep his squishy self up. AMAZING! Even took some new healers in, and they did awesome. Came in right under me. /proud

Just one of those days

Seeing as how I’ve only started this blog a few days ago, I’m not having any problem coming up with content to post. Although I’m working on a fall back just in case that should ever happen, I don’t think it will. Better safe then sorry and all that.

Group 2 went back into Kara last night, sadly we didn’t get as far as we would have liked too, but I’m still proud of us. Took Maiden like the crazy redheaded bitch she is. We wiped once, due to a healer sleeping on the job. [Do you see what I did there!? *snicker*] Although we did get her down to 30%. The second time we went in, and WTFPWND her face in! It was very nice, we even got to shard an epic, which shouldn’t make me happy but it does because it means that nobody needed them.

After we downed Maiden we went back up for our shot at Aran. We had already downed Curator so there was no trash or anything for us to kill up until the library area. We did a couple pulls, downed some of the arcane protector guys and suddenly ET decided to have a heart attack. [Although some people think the chipmunk/hamster died.] It was bad, everyones latency went up to the 950s and we were dying and D/Cing all over the place. It was not a pretty sight.

Finally got our latency issues cleared up and were able to move up to Aran. No problems clearing the trash. Even had an epic drop Gripts of Deftness which I picked up for a feral set, eventually I’m going to be have a pretty nice set. As long as I keep getting guidance on it, since I’ve been a tree since I started.

We tried Aran but wiped twice, both times we got him down to 30%. [30 must have been our lucky number last night.] Although the fact that we got him down so far both times with what I was told was an unconventional group, is what makes me super proud! We had 2 hunters, 2 tank warriors, 2 resto druids, 1 holy priest, 1 mage and 1 shaman.

Decided to call it then, we’re not going to go back in tonight, instead we’re going to try MrT with the guild & then next week we’re going to only run 1 group since we had so much trouble this week. Hopefully in a few weeks we’ll be able to run 2 again, but for right now running 1 is what’s best for the guild.

Speaking of what’s best for the guild, we had a guildy leave because he was being deployed to Iraq. Everyone wished him well and told him to be safe. A few days later one of his RL friends joined the guild and accidentally spilled the beans that he was in fact at home, and hadn’t been deployed. The only reason he said that was because none of his RL friends were playing WoW anymore. That’s just shady. It was bad enough that a lot of our members were outraged, and it resulted in him getting kicked.

Also speaking of what’s best for the guild, I need to step up my game as a healer.

These are my stats in full raid buff. There’s a lot I need to work on so I’m working right now on a to do list for gear and such. I’m not sure where I’m going to get it yet, because I haven’t gotten that far into my research, but for a casual at least I’ve got my plans.

Rated F: for frustrating

Had a hard time getting our Kara groups together last night, lots of frustration all around. Finally got Kara Group 1 off the ground and they did amazing. All the way to Nightbane I believe. Seeing as how I wasn’t in the raid I can’t like loot. I know they listed it in /g but I wasn’t really paying attention. Both groups are going back in tonight, and we’ll kick massive ass. It’s just what we do.

Tried to run MrT since KG2 wasn’t going in. Got through the first couple of pulls and died, decided we didn’t have enough CC and moved on.
As a guild we’re gonna try to run MrT on Monday. Let’s keep our fingers crossed.

By the time we got out of MrT most of KG1 was feeling giggily, so a lot of hilarity ensued through /g and PSTS. Apparently JD was running around in my pants … and here I didn’t even know they were missing!

I really love my guild, it’s nice to know that even with some mild problems we can still be silly and laid back and still function as a family. It’s really odd to say that, but for the most part that’s how we function. Our guild is always there for one another, and always tries to keep things light hearted and fun. And still go in and WTFPWN faces!

Our MrT group decided to go into Heroic Mech. Couldn’t get in ’cause Kal didn’t have enough rep, but that didn’t stop us. We all zoned out and reset that bitch to regular. I have a love/hate with that instance. Okay mainly hate but still, you try running an inst 25+ times to get a piece of gear. Anyway did the rep run, only wiped once, and that was because of a fluke accident. Got the rep and was able to DE all the gear that dropped. OF COURSE as my luck would have it, yanno that one piece of gear I ran 25 times to get, it dropped the first time we were there. Moonglade Robe FTL! At least running the inst was easy since I could remember all the pulls and such.
